Paul studied percussion with Doug Wolf at the University of Utah and with Ron Brough, Jay Lawrence and others at Brigham Young University. Paul has performed throughout the United States and Canada with noteworthy performances in fine concert halls such as Carnegie Hall and The Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts. He has taught privately, worked as a studio musician, and has performed with several bands and orchestras performing all types of music. Paul is currently the principal timpanist for the Timpanogos Symphony Orchestra. For several years Paul has directed music festivals for high school and junior high school music groups of all kinds throughout the United States and Canada. Paul has had the opportunity at these music festivals to work with and learn from world renowned composers, educators, and adjudicators. Past/Present Member of: The Timpanogos Symphony Orchestra, Los Versatiles, various other country, rock, and orchestral groups.
